Experience

I have experience with child therapy and evaluations in the following areas: articulation, language and fluency. I also worked at Auburn Early Education Center during graduate school. I was a speech therapy aide for two summers during college at Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham. Before working here, I worked at The Medical Center and Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, GA.

This is my 5th year at South SSES and I am thankful to work with such a great group of educators!

Bio

My name is Mallory Martin and I am originally from Albertville, which is located in Northeast Alabama. I am an Auburn graduate and a TIGER fan to the core. I married my high school sweetheart, Derek, in July of 2011. We had our first child in April and are loving being his parents! We also have 3 dogs that keep us busy! In my free time, I love going to yard sales and estate sales to find great deals. My sister and I enjoy refinishing furniture that we find. I also love just about any other craft or DIY project that I can get into.

I am passionate about my job as a Speech-Language Pathologist! I love doing therapy and making a difference in people's lives! I have known this is what I wanted to do since my junior year in high school and I love it more than I ever thought I could! This is my fifth year at South Smiths Station Elementary and I can't wait to continue to help our students grow by diving in and making therapy FUN!
